Gerald Choa Memorial Fund was established in 2013 to ensure that the late Professor Gerald H. CHOA, who was the first-ever Dean and architect of CUHK Faculty of Medicine, is never forgotten for the rich legacy he left behind. Through the Fund, we wish to cultivate a “support-by-giving” culture among our graduates; to strengthen our heritage; foster close ties between alumni and medical students and commit ourselves to serving society with passion, humility and kindness. The Fund has enabled many deserving students, in the form of scholarships, to undertake studies and research overseas, as well as helping students engage with the community in worthy causes. With financial contributions from alumni and the public, we will be able to initiate far-reaching and meaningful endeavours to benefit the Faculty, students and the community at large.
