10The CU Medical Alumni Buddy Programme is thebrainchild of a group of alumni from Faculty of Medicineof The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK).The programme works like a mentoring system,connecting medical students with alumni from differentgraduation years. The core members within the BuddyGroup are doctors from the public and private sectors aswell as CUHK academic staff.The Buddy system was created basically to instil pride inthe students for their alma mater, build bonds amongthem, give them advice and support them in their moraland career development.From July 2023 to June 2024, two activities had beenrolled out to cater for medical students from differentyears.
