4The Fund also contributed to the %u201cNeuroscience Academic Exchange2023-24%u201d, organized by the Hong Kong Student Association ofNeuroscience, one of Asia%u2019s largest neuroscience student societies. Thisevent featured a student congress, annual conference, globalsymposium, webinar series, and neurosurgical skills workshops, allfocusing on raising awareness of neurological diseases and laying thegroundwork for future international collaborations in neuroscienceresearch.Through these projects, students gained valuable opportunities toexpand their horizons and develop essential skills, which areindispensable for their medical careers. These experiences fostercompetence and humility, echoing the late Professor Gerald CHOA%u2019svision of medical education: %u201cWithout discipline, no one can succeed in themedical profession; without compassion and sympathy, no one can be agood doctor.%u201dLooking ahead, we will continue to collaborate with various stakeholdersto enhance the impact of donations, nurturing the next generation ofcaring, knowledgeable, and competent medical professionals.
